HYDRAULIC OILS

Product Name: Certified HI – TOP

It is multi-grade hydraulic oil specifically formulated for industrial equipment.

The Hydraulic system is the single most important component on your industrial equipment….. Unfortunately, because it works so hard it is susceptible to severe problems.
01. Problem: Leaking Seals – It is the # 1 problem with Hydraulic Systems. Cracked seals not only allow oil to escape but also allow contaminants such as dust, water and other contaminants to enter. Leaking Seals also contribute to low levels which cause foaming, pump cavitation and higher operating temperatures.
Solution: Hi Top has seal conditioners which keeps seals and wipers soft and pliable to prevent drying and cracking. It also has leak inhibitors which provide a controlled swell of seals to stop leaks and reduce contaminants entry.

02. Problem: Contamination – Contaminants enter Industrial Equipment through leaking seals, vents and during the addition or change out of oil. Water is the most common contaminants which causes rust and corrosion, foaming, excessive wear and overheating.

Solution: Hi Top has demulsifiers which separates water contaminants to prevent rust and corrosion and allow for easy drainage.

03. Problem: Oxidation – For every 10°C increase in operating temperature above 66°C, oxidation doubles and oil life is shortened by ½. Oxidation of oil creates acids, sludge, varnish and gum which causes sticking valves, wear and parts replacement.

Solution: Hi Top has corrosion inhibitors which shields sensitive metals such as valve linings against acids and other corrosive compounds. Hi Top also has oxidation inhibitors which extends oil life, maintain thermal stability and inhibits the formation of acid, sludge and varnish build up.

04. Erratic Operation: like Foaming, which develops when air mixes with oil during operation causing non lubricated hot spots resulting in excessive wear.

Solution: Hi Top which has anti-foam agents which inhibits foaming to reduce non-lubricated hot spots and prevents pump cavitation that causes erratic operation.


GEAR OILS

Product Name: Certified CERTOP

It is heavy duty gear oil specifically formulated to solve problems with industrial equipment.

Gears are probably the most neglected components in Industrial Equipment.. But, when gear boxes break down, the whole operation shuts down, resulting in costly downtime and parts replacement.

01. Problem: Leaking Seals – It is the # 1 problem with Gear Boxes. Cracked seals not only allow oil to escape but also allow contaminants such as dust, water and other contaminants to enter. Leaking Seals also contribute to low levels which cause foaming, pump cavitation and higher operating temperatures.

02. Problem: Dry Start – 80-85% of gear wear occurs during start up. Most gear oil drain off during shut down and leave gears unprotected. Dry start leads to mechanical wear and cold welding, flash rusting and corrosion, Gear failure and costly shutdown.

Solution: Certop has Adhesive / Cohesive polymers which creates a climbing action allowing Certop to cling to gear surfaces even during shut down.

Solution: Certop extends oil life upto 4 times longer then conventional gear oils.

04. Erratic Operation: like Foaming, which develops when air mixes with oil during operation causing non lubricated hot spots resulting in excessive wear.

Solution: Certop lowers the surface tension of the oil causing air bubbles to rise and break, preventing foam build up.

05. Problem: Water Contamination – All gear boxes contains water… As oil heats up then cools down, condensation forms. Water contamination causes oil to emulsify promoting foam, oil to breakdown and oxidize faster, increased rust and corrosion.

Solution: Certop has demulsifiers which separates water to keep gears dry and properly lubricated. It also has adhesive/cohesive polymers which coats metal surfaces to seal out water.

DARATHENE

It is a moisture displacing chemical which displaces moisture to prevent electrical failure.

Problem: Arcing & Sparking

Solution: Darathene reduces creeping currents and arcing of insulators, commutators and controllers. It also reduces sparking in high voltage parts.

Problem: Salt air, water and corrosive fumes

Solution: Darathene leaves a protective coating that shields against elements that can effect equipment.

Problem: Sensitive electrical components or surfaces

Solution: Darathene will not affect electrical components. It can be used on metal, most ceramics, enamels, lacquers, plastics and rubbers.

Problem: Equipment down-time

Solution: Darathene displaces and seals out moisture in electrical apparatus, reducing equipment downtime.

Remarks: It cannot be used on computers, television and other radio transmitters and receivers and other electronic equipment.
